All U.S. state departments of transportation and most Canadian provincial ministries of transportation are AASHTO members, as are some federal, local, regional, and international transportation organizations. No. Signing up for an AASHTO Account is completely free. Persons employed by AASHTO member organizations will need to create an AASHTO Account to buy publications online at the Member price. Non-members who sign up for AASHTO Accounts get free shipping within the U.S. or discounted international shipping on all online orders. Members and non-members both have access to certain AASHTO online publications, online order tracking, and other benefits through their AASHTO Account. There are no costs for any of these benefits.

Publication orders may be paid with credit cards. Orders placed by mail can also be paid with checks or money orders. AASHTO accepts VISA, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Checks or money orders may be used when ordering by mail and must be accompanied by a completed AASHTO Order Form. Checks and money orders must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.

A Web-based training is an online training that can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection. Web-based trainings are self-paced and are not led by an instructor. You can access a Web-based training at any time through the My Training page and return to it as many times as you wish.
